PROJECT OBJECTIVES

NanKang Biotech Incubation Center (NBIC), established by the Government of Taiwan and operated by the Development Center for Biotechnology (DCB), is a multi-function organization advancing biotech business incubation and entrepreneurship in Taiwan. Located in the NanKang Software Park in Taipei with great access to resources from on-site and nearby biotech companies and research institutes such as DCB, Academia Sinica and major university hospitals, NBIC provides a world-class environment for biotech start-ups.

Combining the role DCB plays in promoting biotech development and NanKang area being the prime location for investment, NBIC believes in “collaborative partnership” and will accelerate the growth of biotech industry.

SCOPE

NBIC welcomes all biotech innovators and start-ups with groundbreaking technologies and potentials. We particularly focus on Biomedical related businesses; including Biopharmaceuticals, Herbal Medicines, Health and Dietary Supplements, Biocides, Biomaterials, Diagnostics, Genomic Medicine, Biocosmetics, Biomedical Electronics, Bioinformatics, Medical Imaging, Legal and Business Services, etc.

SERVICE

NBIC supports comprehensive incubation services to assist in moving an idea to the market. Companies that join NBIC will not only get customized road map consulting, but also access to resources in space & facilities, administration, market information, recruiting services, technology/management training courses, finance and legal services, provided by NBIC.
